Legal Advisor (3‑month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to join our Los Angeles team on a three‑month contract. The role involves independent legal research, drafting, and project coordination across multiple departments, supporting both general and healthcare‑specific legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Research legal issues, write briefs, memoranda, and summaries for assigned matters.
• Analyze legal and non‑legal risks and advise teams and management under attorney supervision.
• Manage legal projects, make recommendations, and track outcomes.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
• Assist with litigation and pre‑litigation tasks, public records requests, employment/HR matters, and workplace investigations.
• Serve as liaison with outside counsel and manage threatened or active litigation.
• Support health‑care legal services as assigned.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree with strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Capacity to handle highly sensitive or confidential information.
