Lecturer in Gerontology (Part‑Time)

About the role

The University of Southern Indiana’s Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions is seeking part‑time lecturers for its Gerontology program. This position involves delivering undergraduate courses, supporting curriculum development, and contributing to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned Gerontology courses, including lectures, labs, and assessments.
• Develop and update course materials in line with current research and best practices.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and program evaluation.

Required profile

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Gerontology, Aging Studies, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
• College‑level teaching experience is preferred.
• Professional experience in healthcare or aging services is a plus.
• Doctoral degree is highly desirable.
