Elementary Student Success Coach / Program Leader

About the role

The Elementary Student Success Coach/Program Leader works jointly with Delaware Elementary School and Dream Center Evansville to support students academically, socially, and spiritually. The role blends school‑based coaching during the school day with leading out‑of‑school programs that foster a Christ‑centered, safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Delaware Elementary staff to provide small‑group and one‑on‑one coaching on goal setting, academic achievement, and social‑emotional learning.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other designated times, building positive relationships with students and school personnel.
• Design and deliver engaging classroom and gym activities, SEL curriculum, and Bible‑based ministry curriculum for out‑of‑school programs.
• Implement effective classroom management and positive youth development practices.
• Support out‑of‑school academic interventions and maintain a safe, structured program environment aligned with Dream Center values.
• Drive 15‑passenger vans/buses after completing required training.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a classroom or similar setting.
• Active member or regular attendee of a Bible‑believing church and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Ability to model Christ‑like behavior and uphold the organization’s statement of faith.
• Age 21 or older, willing to undergo background checks and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with children and adults, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
