Leasing Professional – Water Tower District

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Water Tower District community to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. This role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications.
• Perform credit screening and criminal background checks, prepare lease and move‑in packages, and facilitate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and sales mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
