About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a residential community in Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads. The focus is on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing activities and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move‑in and address any issues.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals.
• Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote community availability.

Required profile

• Experience performing sales and leasing activities in a residential setting.
• Ability to qualify prospects, conduct tours, and manage application processes.
• Proficiency in credit and background screening procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for lease preparation and apartment inspections.
