Leasing Professional – Thornbridge Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 286‑unit, garden‑style community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals while delivering high‑quality service to new and existing residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Lead lease file audits and inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinating any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout lease terms and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing or related experience, preferably with affordable housing (100% Tax Credit community).
• Weekend availability (Tuesday‑Saturday schedule with weekend work required).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
