Leasing Professional – The Silva

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Silva community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needs, and ensure apartments are ready.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
