Leasing Professional – The Overlook Community

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for The Overlook community in Walnut Creek. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through full‑cycle leasing and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate eligible for incentive‑based bonuses.
• Availability to work a 5‑day schedule including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to maintain resident satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
