Leasing Professional – The Commodore

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Commodore community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to lease signing and resident move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust marketing and leasing strategies.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) for unit availability, prospect tracking, and demographic reporting.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience using OneSite or Yardi property management software.
