Leasing Professional – The Colwick

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional for The Colwick, a mid‑rise community of 234 units in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through proactive leasing, marketing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to meet occupancy targets.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build relationships with prospective and existing residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Familiarity with online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
