Leasing Professional – The Boulevard Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for The Boulevard, a 283‑unit mid‑rise community in Charlotte. Reporting to property management, you will ensure high occupancy, revenue targets and resident satisfaction through proactive prospect engagement and lease administration.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, verify readiness and coordinate any maintenance issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data on apartment availability, prospect activity and resident information using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Effective communication skills for both in‑person interactions and digital marketing efforts.
