Leasing Professional – The Bailey Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for The Bailey will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by managing all leasing activities, from prospecting to move‑in. This role ensures a seamless experience for new and renewing residents while maintaining the community’s market position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to greet and qualify prospects and conduct effective community tours.
• Experience inspecting and preparing apartments for resident move‑in.
• Knowledge of local market conditions and competitor activity.
• Capability to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive traffic.
