Leasing Professional – The Aster Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for The Aster community to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, ensure a smooth move‑in experience, and foster resident satisfaction throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease documents.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track unit availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitive positioning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet occupancy targets, and maintain accurate records.
