Leasing Professional – Student Living

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to join the student‑living community at The Langston in Cleveland. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through effective marketing, leasing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours and showcase apartment units.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and verify unit condition.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and manage lease renewal processes.
• Collaborate with the community team to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leasing activities and meet performance goals.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and compliance.
• Experience in residential leasing or property management preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in lease processing and resident move‑in procedures.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
• Ability to conduct property tours and present leasing options.
