Leasing Professional – Student Living Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and resident satisfaction for The Langston student living community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while supporting renewal efforts and maintaining high‑quality show units.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans that sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple leasing tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive approach to market analysis and marketing plan execution.
• Ability to collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure unit readiness.
