Leasing Professional (Seasonal)

About the role

The Leasing Professional (Seasonal) will support The Heron at River Island community by managing all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction, and helping achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, process applications, and perform credit and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Use on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm with rotating weekends.
• Ability to perform full leasing cycle and provide excellent resident service.
