Leasing Professional – Minneapolis

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals. Based onsite in Minneapolis, this role manages the full leasing cycle from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewal while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and address any issues before resident arrival.
• Maintain accurate resident records and handle day‑to‑day resident inquiries.
• Drive lease renewal efforts and work to retain existing residents.
• Collaborate with marketing and property‑management teams to meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Experience performing leasing activities in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve occupancy goals.
