About the role
Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its Melina Sarasota community. This full‑time position supports the property’s lease‑up phase, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
- Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and follow up on lease renewals.
- Inspect units and common areas to ensure presentation standards are met.
- Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple leasing tasks simultaneously.
