Leasing Professional (Lease Up) – Waterline Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional (Lease Up) will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Waterline community. You will manage all leasing activities from prospect greeting to lease signing and ensure a smooth move‑in experience for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to interact professionally with prospects and residents throughout the leasing cycle.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and documentation.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competitive leasing strategies.
