Leasing Professional (Lease-Up)

About the role

The Leasing Professional (Lease-Up) will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Bellamy community in Minnetonka. This role manages all aspects of leasing, from prospect outreach to move‑in, ensuring a seamless experience for new and renewing residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications.
• Perform credit screening, criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show unit standards and ensure community presentation aligns with company quality standards.
