Leasing Professional (Lease Up)

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional (Lease Up) to join our Houston community. In this role you will drive occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction by managing all aspects of the leasing process from prospecting to move‑in.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring a smooth signing and resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues and guarantee move‑in ready condition.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet community occupancy and revenue targets.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease preparation and unit inspections.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
