Leasing Professional – High‑Rise Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for the Ashton South End high‑rise community in Charlotte. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect qualification to move‑in, while delivering a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit screening and criminal background checks, prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.
• Strong attention to detail for lease preparation, apartment inspections and data entry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
