Leasing Professional for Townhome Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for Avery Place, a stabilized townhome community in Charlotte. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals while delivering a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show townhomes to prospective residents.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.
