Leasing Professional – Exchange at Westgate

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage the marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Exchange at Westgate community in Leland, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive leasing and resident engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments to achieve occupancy targets.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
