Leasing Professional - Broadstone Inkwell

About the role

This full-time Leasing Professional position at the Broadstone Inkwell community in Long Beach coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. The community is stabilized with 189 units. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, subject to change depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, show apartments, process applications, run credit and criminal background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and follow concession and special programs to sustain occupancy.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach, and use online tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail, other websites).
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic and leasing activity and manage resident and prospect data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition, and follow up with prospects and new residents to secure lease renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and route requests to the right people.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of leasing experience preferred.
• Prior experience with OneSite/Funnel preferred.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Able to stand, walk or sit for long periods, work indoors and outdoors in all weather, and lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help.
• Rare or regular travel to other properties, training or meetings may be required; flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Pay range of $20.00-$23.00 per hour in Long Beach, CA, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses for onsite positions.
