Leasing Professional – Avana North Point

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Avana North Point community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing and resident satisfaction efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing, lease preparation, and move‑in inspections.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Effective communication skills for tours, marketing outreach, and resident interactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check procedures.
