Leasing Professional – Avana Eldridge Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and resident satisfaction for the Avana Eldridge community in Houston. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while supporting resident retention and renewal efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth signing and resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues and confirm move‑in readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
