Leasing Professional – 4th West Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for the 4th West community is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through comprehensive leasing, marketing, and renewal activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications, and move‑in processes while ensuring a high‑quality living experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Experience conducting tours, processing leasing applications, and managing move‑in procedures.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to generate traffic.
• Proficiency in using property management software to manage data and reporting.
