Leasing Consultant – Residential Property

About the role

The Leasing Consultant will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a Greystar community in Otis. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and schedule any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet, qualify, and guide prospects.
• Experience conducting tours, processing applications, and handling lease documentation.
• Attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
