Leasing Consultant (Part-Time) - River Rock at Alexander Farms

About the role

The Sales Consultant at River Rock at Alexander Farms executes the property's marketing, leasing and renewal strategy to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. As a key contact for prospective residents, the role guides them through the leasing process, supports resident satisfaction during the lease term and manages lease renewals in line with Active Adult best practices. It is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, give property tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and run events, referral and employer outreach programs.
• Use the on-site property management software to track availability, traffic and resident data, and analyse it.
• Keep show units and the leasing office ready, and follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours.
• Run the lease renewal program: prepare renewal letters and packages, contact renewing residents before move-out and follow the AA renewal playbook.
• Answer resident and owner questions promptly, assist the Lifestyle Coordinator with event setup, and complete reports and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, hospitality or a related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet use and customer service.
• Valid driver's licence to drive a golf cart on property, and all state and local licences or certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, property management applications and databases.
• Fluency in using the internet for marketing and sales.
• Reading, writing and communication skills to handle legal documents and explain apartment features.
