Lease Up Groundskeeper – The Taylor at Greenway

About the role

The Lease Up Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of The Taylor at Greenway community. This role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and grounds clean, orderly, and inviting for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and ensure all common areas and amenities remain neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage spaces clean.
• Complete minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and ability to recognize and report hazards.
