Leadership Training Manager – Field (Atlanta)

About the role

The Leadership Training Manager creates an experiential learning environment for Home Depot leaders, delivering instructor‑led events and virtual courses that align with the company’s core values. The role combines facilitation, curriculum maintenance, and project leadership to develop leadership capabilities across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor‑led leadership and business training for Home Depot leaders, delivering engaging in‑person and virtual courses across multiple platforms (approximately 60% of time).
• Handle administrative duties such as calendar planning, event and classroom preparation, content review, agenda creation, attendance tracking, and communication with business partners (approximately 20%).
• Partner with Learning Design & Development, Learning Strategy, peer groups, and cross‑functional subject‑matter experts to develop, maintain, and enhance training materials and course content (approximately 10%).
• Participate in special project assignments, often serving as project lead, to support evolving business and learning initiatives (approximately 10%).

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Prior retail operations and leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to diverse groups.
• Excellent interpersonal, team‑oriented, and results‑driven attitude with a sense of urgency.
• Effective time‑management skills and ability to learn new information and processes quickly.
• Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to stewarding organizational culture.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
