Lead Services Ops Analyst

About the role

The Lead Services Ops Analyst (Lead Decision Analyst) at The Home Depot's Services Online Analytics team acts as a data strategy consultant and senior analytical partner for the Home Services online portfolio. Working with Product Managers, UX, Merchants, Marketing and Data Engineering/Science teams, the role evaluates web content upgrades and design experiments, maintains analytics pipelines and delivers insights that reduce customer friction and grow the online lead-generation funnel. It reports to a Senior Manager or above and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Business collaboration: turn business knowledge into solution approaches and build trust with internal customers and cross-functional teams.
• Project management and team support: lead large, complex projects, set priorities, distribute workload, act as a technical SME on predictive and prescriptive analytics, and mentor analysts.
• Solution development: communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical leaders and turn data into actionable information.
• Technical exploration: guide teams in designing and building complex analytics programs, educate the analytics community and drive adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of work experience, preferably 7; no prior leadership experience required.
• Legal permission to work in the United States; must be 18 or older.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related).
• Preferred: 7+ years in data analytics, including at least 3 years in online/digital analytics or e-commerce.

Required skills

• Expert SQL (BigQuery) for analysis, pipelining and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar clickstream platforms.
• Working knowledge of Python; ML modeling experience is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Tableau for dashboards.
• A/B testing, causal inference and hypothesis testing (z-test, t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, CausalImpact, difference-in-differences).
• Advantageous: Dataform, medallion architecture, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, Vertex AI), GitHub, Jupyter Notebooks, AI-based storytelling (MCP servers, LLM narratives, Vertex AI).
