About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Lead Research Analyst to join the Ceccarelli Lab, focusing on cancer genomics and the immune landscape of glioma at single‑cell resolution. The analyst will work on advanced statistical analyses, data management, and collaborative research projects.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze multiple datasets using advanced statistical methods (SAS, SPSS, R).
- Develop, maintain, and document individual‑level data structures.
- Prepare results for progress reports, presentations, and peer‑reviewed publications.
- Co‑author manuscripts and present findings to investigators.
- Provide statistical consultation to project staff and collaborators.
- Collaborate with methodologists and statisticians to resolve analytical challenges.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a deadline‑driven environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAS.
- Proficiency with SPSS.
- Proficiency with R.
- Experience in data management and handling large, complex data files.
