Lead Recruiter – Design

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Lead Recruiter to shape its Design hiring across Product Design, Design Engineering, and Brand Design. You will partner with design leadership to identify, assess, and hire exceptional designers.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruiting for Product Design, Design Engineering, and Brand Design.
• Partner with design leadership to define hiring needs and candidate profiles.
• Identify and engage talent through portfolio sites, industry channels, and community events.
• Build relationships with designers via referrals, events, and ongoing community engagement.
• Collaborate with the Design Program Manager to strengthen Ramp’s industry presence.
• Improve hiring processes by leveraging new tools and AI throughout the workflow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, including hiring for design roles.
• Strong understanding of what differentiates great design talent.
• Exceptional relationship‑building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and operational rigor.
• Experimental mindset and willingness to try new approaches.

Required skills

• Experience using AI throughout the recruiting workflow.
