About the role

Rainmaker is building a modern cloud‑seeding system to address water scarcity. As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will own hardware development from concept through production while guiding other engineers.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate UAS platforms, dispersion payloads, and sensing systems.
Lead technical reviews, mentor team members, and ensure hardware meets performance and reliability targets.

Required profile

Proven experience delivering complex mechanical systems in fast‑paced, innovative environments.
Strong problem‑solving ability and willingness to take ownership of projects end‑to‑end.

Required skills

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) hardware design
Radar and remote sensing integration
Numerical weather modeling knowledge
Payload dispersion and validation expertise
