Lead HealthySteps Specialist

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full‑time Lead HealthySteps Specialist to support and coordinate specific programs and research studies within a pediatric clinic. The role involves direct interaction with families, medical staff, and students, providing developmental guidance and parenting coaching for children ages 0‑3.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure flawless execution of HealthySteps programs, meeting scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Develop and monitor program plans, track progress, measure performance, and report status to leadership.
• Create annual reports for the national organization overseeing the HealthySteps program.
• Train new HealthySteps staff and psychology students, and conduct developmental screenings, parenting stress assessments, home safety checks, and maternal mental‑health evaluations.
• Conduct follow‑up virtual calls with families and collaborate with pediatricians and other clinic personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in operational management, organizational development, and financial oversight.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build positive relationships, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with standard office software and relevant computer applications.
