Lead Engineer – Cloud & AI Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to design, build, and operate production‑grade applications on AWS for our Miami office. The role combines cloud architecture, enterprise ERP integration, and AI/LLM‑powered solution development.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable cloud‑native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, and CloudFront.
• Implement integrations with enterprise platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) via APIs, events, middleware, or ETL.
• Design and deliver AI agents and LLM‑driven applications, including prompt engineering, tool calling, and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Establish DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Ensure security best practices, including IAM least‑privilege, secrets management, encryption, and network controls.
• Mentor team members, collaborate in Agile environments, and drive technical excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production applications on AWS.
• Strong software engineering background with one or more languages such as Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Modern web development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and a UI framework like React.
• Hands‑on experience with AI agents, LLMs, and related prompt‑design techniques.
• Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and leadership/communication skills.
