Lead Commercial HVAC Installer

About the role
We are seeking a Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to join our Charlotte team. The role combines hands‑on installation of commercial heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems with leadership of project crews. You will mentor junior installers while ensuring every project meets quality, safety and code standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC/R equipment, ductwork, piping, controls and related components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and installation specifications.
- Assist with equipment start‑up, verify system operation and perform functional testing.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, applicable codes and OSHA safety requirements.
- Mentor and support junior installers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain clear communication with customers, project managers and team members.
- Keep work areas clean, organized and safe throughout each project.
- Participate in ongoing training and technical development.
Required profile
- Associate degree or technical training in HVAC (preferred, not required).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC installation experience; industrial experience strongly preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification (required) and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lb regularly and work at heights.

- Blueprint and schematic reading.
- Troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
