Lead Coach & Growth Manager (Youth Sports)

About the role

A new youth sports program in Colorado Springs is looking for a Lead Coach and Growth Manager. The business brings structured, high-energy sports classes to preschools, schools and communities for children ages 1-10, led by trained coaches rather than volunteers. The role is part-time and pays hourly plus commission and bonuses, with potential to move toward full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engaging sports classes for children ages 1-10, mostly preschool and early elementary, creating a fun, safe, energetic environment
• Represent the brand professionally with schools and parents
• Outreach to preschools, schools and local businesses, set meetings and secure new program partnerships
• Grow registrations through grassroots marketing and community outreach
• Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities and build long-term community relationships

Required profile

• Proven cold sales, business development or partnership outreach experience
• Demonstrated success generating leads, setting meetings and closing opportunities
• Experience working with or coaching children under 5 years old
• Comfortable walking into schools and businesses, building relationships from scratch and following up consistently
• High-energy personality, strong communication skills, self-motivated and reliable transportation in Colorado Springs

Preferred qualifications

• Background in youth sports, early childhood education or fitness
• Existing school or preschool connections in Colorado Springs
• Sponsorship sales experience and CPR, First Aid or Safesport certification
• CRM or scheduling tool experience
