About the role

GA Telesis is seeking an experienced Landing Gear Technician‑Polisher to join its award‑winning team in Medley, FL. The role focuses on the disassembly, polishing, and re‑assembly of various aircraft landing gear components, ensuring they meet strict airworthiness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion, or damage.
• Perform polishing of cylinders, pistons, and other landing gear parts using specialized tools and equipment.
• Operate machinery such as lathes, hones, grinders, and plating tanks safely and efficiently.
• Follow OEM repair manuals, FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and OEM manuals.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
