About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Lab Support Technician II to join the UAMS Health Benton/Bryant clinical laboratory team. The position supports daily laboratory operations, ensuring equipment functionality and supply availability while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow UAMS safety protocols and quality‑control procedures.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to facilitate timely sample processing.
• Work varying shifts to meet laboratory service demands.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work varying shifts.
