Knowledge Management Specialist (SharePoint & MSS)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Knowledge Management Specialist in Alexandria to support the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401), which strengthens the Department of Defense's counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) enterprise. The role synchronizes C-UAS efforts across the defense and interagency community by integrating threat intelligence, emerging technologies, testing, acquisition and training, and improves leaders' ability to make data-informed decisions. It is a regular, full-time position requiring a Secret clearance to start, with up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary KM functional lead for information sharing, knowledge capture, collaboration and records-aware content management.
• Assess information requirements, business processes and user needs, and recommend improvements to information access and knowledge flow.
• Design and maintain information architectures, including site structures, navigation, metadata, taxonomies, content types, document libraries and permissions models.
• Administer and improve the enterprise SharePoint environment, including site configuration, access management, workflows, dashboards, lists and libraries.
• Support authorized MSS users, help define information requirements, organize data and reference content, and run training and adoption support.
• Coordinate with data owners, system administrators, records and security personnel to improve data quality and discoverability.
• Establish KM governance processes, including content ownership, review cycles, version control and archival/disposition coordination.
• Develop executive-ready dashboards, recurring reports, knowledge products and collaboration tools, and measure KM effectiveness.
• Lead KM improvement initiatives, provide advice to leadership on KM strategy, and supervise, mentor or quality-review junior KM personnel.

Required profile

• 4-year degree in IT or a relevant field.
• 7 years of knowledge management experience, including at least 5 years of progressive experience in KM, information management, data governance, digital collaboration or related organizational-information support.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Maven Smart System (MSS) or a comparable authorized data-integration and decision-support environment.
• Demonstrated experience administering an enterprise SharePoint environment (e.g., SharePoint Online).
• Ability to work across military, civilian, interagency and contractor organizations and to manage sensitive mission information.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the access required for the position.
