Kitchen Installer (1099 Contractor)

About the role

Renuity is seeking experienced, independent contractors to install kitchen and home remodeling products across the Des Moines area. As a 1099 Kitchen Installer you will work directly with homeowners, delivering high‑quality installations that meet Renuity’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, and related remodeling products according to company procedures.
• Apply finish work and trim as required for each application.
• Communicate with management after each job to confirm customer satisfaction and authorize final payments.
• Complete a detailed job checklist with the homeowner at project completion.
• Treat each homeowner and their property with the utmost respect.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of residential remodeling experience, including trim and finish carpentry.
• Knowledge of cabinet installation, cabinet refacing, countertops, and backsplashes.
• Established LLC or business operating under an EIN.
• General liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
• Own cargo van, box truck, shuttle, or a vehicle capable of pulling a trailer.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
