Key Account Manager

About the role

Red Bull is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to drive the execution of its sales strategy within local key account chains. The role focuses on selling Red Bull products, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with decision makers to achieve distribution, price, promotion, and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage local key account budgets, overseeing distribution, pricing, promotion and Quality Points of Distribution (QPOD).
• Develop and maintain productive business relationships with assigned key accounts and key decision makers.
• Create and present customized sales pitches, annual promotion schedules and merchandising solutions that align with Red Bull’s standards.
• Execute the Optimum Price program, manage POS and incremental displays, and ensure effective merchandising in line with channel strategy.
• Construct annual Customer Marketing Agreements, manage associated funds and track monthly/annual performance.
• Collaborate with Category Analyst to evaluate ROI on pay‑for‑space agreements and conduct post‑promotion analysis.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, share Red Bull marketing insights and provide energy‑related recommendations.
• Maintain regular communication with distributor partners and visit them to ensure program execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts and budgets in a consumer‑goods or beverage environment.
• Strong ability to build relationships with local decision makers and influence execution of sales programs.
• Analytical mindset for evaluating ROI, conducting post‑promotion analysis and preparing business reviews.
• Excellent presentation skills to customize pitches and promotion schedules.
