Junior Sommelier

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club is seeking a motivated Junior Sommelier to join its luxury food‑and‑beverage team. You will work closely with the wine program, supporting guests and staff in delivering exceptional wine experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update wine lists, ensuring accuracy in the POS system.
• Order, receive, rotate, and maintain the wine inventory.
• Provide wine pairing recommendations tailored to menu items and guest preferences.
• Assist with food and beverage service, delivering orders promptly across all outlets.
• Deliver courteous, professional interactions to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Support staff training on the beverage program and wine knowledge.
• Adhere to Four Seasons policies and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Passionate about wine with a solid understanding of wine regions and pairing principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory accurately.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
