Junior iOS Engineer – Payments & Location Apps

About the role

We are seeking a Junior iOS Engineer to join our mobile team and help build cutting‑edge payment, wallet and location‑based experiences for iOS devices. You will work on secure transaction flows, map visualisations and proximity interactions using the latest Apple frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement wallet‑integrated experiences with PassKit and Apple Pay.
• Integrate payment gateways, handle validation, error handling and reconciliation.
• Develop mapping features using Google Maps SDK, Location Services API, geofencing and background location tracking.
• Create custom map layers, clustering, markers and real‑time route visualisations.
• Build UWB‑based interactions via NearbyInteraction and NFC tap interactions with CoreNFC.
• Write clean, testable Swift code following secure architecture principles.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure coding practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Apple frameworks such as PassKit, Apple Pay, MapKit, CoreLocation, NearbyInteraction and CoreNFC.
• Experience with secure coding, API integrations and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of payment compliance and secure transaction patterns.
