Waybetter Marketing, a marketing agency in Columbia, Maryland, is looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to help build a dynamic student engagement hub. The role focuses on creating mobile‑first, high‑performance web experiences that drive interaction and support enrollment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop student‑facing web pages using a mobile‑first approach.
• Collaborate with AI coding tools to generate code suggestions and improve frontend performance.
• Translate UI/UX designs into feasible, technically sound implementations.
• Optimize pages for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain reusable, modular code libraries for future projects.
• Conduct thorough QA testing across devices and browsers to ensure visual fidelity and usability.

Required profile

• Proven experience building dynamic, scalable web pages.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to pixel‑perfect, reusable code.
• Comfort working with AI‑powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Familiarity with Git version control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive, mobile‑first, and accessibility development principles.
