Junior Designer – Residential Architecture

About the role

Oliver Freundlich Design is seeking a Junior Designer to support residential architecture and interior design projects across New York, Long Island, and Charleston. You will collaborate closely with senior designers to develop design solutions that reflect client needs and enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 3D visualizations for internal development and client presentations.
• Draft residential drawing sets throughout all project phases.
• Research, source, and specify materials.
• Assist with construction administration activities.

Required profile

• Professional degree in architecture.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience on residential design projects.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions and iterate.
• Detail‑oriented and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Motivation to take on responsibility and grow professionally.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.
