Junior Designer – Character Licensed Products

About the role

We are seeking a creative Junior Designer to join a leading housewares manufacturer. The role focuses on developing character‑licensed collections that are trend‑driven and ready for retail across multiple product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop character‑licensed products for kitchen textiles, housewares, baby, pet, and health & beauty categories.
• Adapt licensed artwork and style guides to various product formats while preserving brand integrity.
• Create presentation boards, mock‑ups, and production‑ready artwork files.
• Prepare detailed tech packs for overseas manufacturing.
• Collaborate with product development and sourcing teams to meet quality and cost targets.
• Research trends in character licensing, color, graphics, and retail assortments.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Ensure designs align with retail price points and licensing guidelines.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in product design, graphic design, or licensed consumer products (internship experience considered).
• Experience working with character‑licensed brands and adhering to style guides.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, textile design, industrial design, or a related field preferred.
